K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg / Chiara Bersani / Giorgia Nardin

Based on the field of pornography, Giorgia Nardin is investigating the quest for pleasure and direct physical gratification during her residency at K3. Together with artist Chiara Bersani, she will be discussing concepts of beauty, desire and the sexualized body from a performative perspective. Based on Chiara Bersani’s artistic work, they negotiate how the body, as well as different types of bodies can be framed pornographically in a performance and what political and emotional meanings are thereby produced.Chiara Bersani works in the field of visual and performance art. As a performer, she has worked e.g. with Alessandro Sciarroni, Jérôme Bel and Riccardo Buscarini. Due to a moderately severe form of osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as brittle-bone syndrome, she is interested in the political significance of bodies.Giorgia Nardin studied Performing Arts as well as Movement Studies at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds (GB). She has participated in numerous EU projects and is currently a K3 resident.
