The long-established television format "Das literarische Quartett" (The Literary Quartet) has been criticising books for decades - but it has always been met with disapproval, and not only in the feuilleton. For some years now, it has been increasingly pointed out that only part of the literary production that takes place in this country is dealt with here, and from a homogeneous critic's perspective. To counteract this imbalance, Pajam Masoumi and Kampnagel jointly developed the error-friendly and anti-canonical counterpart: THE CRITICAL QUEERTET. Here we talk about literature that serves a "different" canon or even wants to exist apart from a concept of canon. Our literary critics focus on the thoughts and perspectives of those who are not to be found at all or only as stereotypes in the established media and the literary establishment. In its second issue, DAS KRITIKABLE QUEERTETT is once again on a quest - for ways to talk about, argue about and appreciate literature from multiple perspectives.

With the critics Duygu Ağal, Elisa Aseva and Sarah Rudolph; and Georgina Fakunmoju (moderator).

We appreciate if you do a Corona rapid test at home and wear a mask in crowded indoor spaces at the Book Fair. Those with cold symptoms: Instead of on site, you can take part in the discourse events via Zoom.
