Marie Davidson / DJ: Tintin Patrone

This time Nguyen Phuong-Dan’s Kampnagel series hosts Canadian Marie Davidson, who has been an important part of the Montreal electronic music scene since her youth. Alongside collaborative projects like Essaie Pas (DFA Records) or DKMD (Giallo Disco), she has focused more intensely on her solo productions in the last four years. These are built on drum machines, synthesizers and sequencers, as well as her voice -- sometimes sung, sometimes spoken, in English and French. Her music is dark, cinematic and alternates between spherical techno and fragile, experimental pop. It will be followed by a DJ set by Hamburg artist Tintin Patrone.
