Marie Thompson (UK) teaches at Lincoln School of Film and Media. In her book »Beyond Unwanted« Sound developed a definition for noise between musical development, the politics of sound and philosophy.Brut (UK) With her project Brut Sonia Dietrich moves along the stylistic borders between the genres of power electronics and post industrial – genres that are characterized by a male dominance.Liz Allbee (US) is a composer and performer whose works explore the acoustic potential of unexpected interactions between instruments, objects of daily life, bodies and technology. In addition to electronics, trumpets and the voice are her main instruments. In her performances, she examines the transitions between noise, sound and speech.Rosaceae (DE) The Hamburg based artist works as an author, filmmaker and musician, among others with her solo-project Rosacea. In the composition commission »There’s no time here, not any more« she will address the central themes of the festival, building a musical dialog between noise, politics and subjectivity.In the music by the London sound artist Klein (UK), also published on the Hyperdub label, structures of popular genres – RnB, Hip Hop and soul – are deconstructed and mixed with foreign noise and sounds.

Nikae (DE) The artist, musician and DJ Nikae is a co-organizer of the monthly series »Next Time« at the Golden Pudel Club where she combines experimental club music with the sounds of the avantgarde and New Music.
