The solo performance AMAZONIA 2040, by Colombian BIPoC artist Martha Hincapié Charry, was developed during the pandemic lockdown in the jungle. The piece reflects on the present, past and future of the Amazonia rainforest and explores the expression and resistance of concepts such as “home”, “habitat” and “inhabitants”, as well as activism and disappearance of biodiversity in times of climate crisis.
