A big concert-hall version of the new album by electronic-music innovators Mouse on Mars.
The Cologne-based duo Mouse on Mars has been a constant in the fast-moving world of electronic music for over 20 years. By exploring various genres, like early electronics, Krautrock and club music, Jan St. Werner and Andi Toma developed their own musical language and have distinguished themselves with their endless willingness to experiment. In the 90ies, Mouse on Mars introduced an entire generation of indie music-fans to intelligent club music with their sound sculptures. They later recorded an almost flawless rock album with the recently deceased Mark E. Smith from The Fall and more recently conquered the rave floor with Modeselektor. Their new, eleventh studio album is called »Dimensional People« and grew out of collaborations with an impressive array of artists, including Zach Condon (Beirut), Bryce Dessner (The National) and the Ensemble Musikfabrik. Mouse on Mars will play a special version of their album in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall with surprise guests.
