Though Mutter always stress they are a completely normal rock band, over 30 years and 13 albums, they continue to defy categorisation. Max Müller’s lyrics are miniature observations of everyday life, sometimes laconic, always carefully observed. The band is rarely openly political, rather it is their urgent style of delivery and uncompromising music that expresses their rejection of the status quo. At Kampnagel, they will play in celebration of the release of their LP–Box with the re-issue of their debut album from 1990 »Ich schäme mich Gedanken zu haben die andere Menschen in ihrer Würde verletzen«.
