For one final treat, Aïcha M’Barek & Hafiz Dhaou have invited Tunisian DJ legend Haythem Achour, aka OGRA to perform at Kampnagel. He belongs to the generation of young Tunisians, who continue to campaign for freedom of expression after the fall of Ben Ali. The producer and founder of the Waveform collective, who prides himself on spreading the current music trends from Tunisia around the world, is best known for his improvisation arts and scenic invasions of his DJ performances. His repertoire extends from free jazz to hiphop, from dubstep and techno and he plays parties and festivals from Casablanca to New York. Following the opening of ‘Plug’, the first electro club of its kind in Tunisia, he is now planning an international gathering for electronic music from the Arab world (REMA) in Tunisia for 2016/17.
