Preach and Abla 101 bring FEMINIST BAD [B]ASS back to the stage: a series that has, for years, opened spaces still rare in Hamburg’s club landscape. With a sound between R&B, pop, and hip-hop, the format connects the local queer-feminist, non-white scene with international artists – consistent, loud, supportive, and clear in its stance. At a time when the club scene is increasingly fading, FEMINIST BAD(B)ASS remains an essential, gritty counterpoint – raw, vibrant, resistant. Sex-positive, queer, feminist, non-white: the format stands for positions that remain underrepresented, and therefore all the more necessary.
