With a sound oscillating between Experimental, Pop, and HipHop the Hamburg-based label One Mother produces new diasporic narratives that open up room for solidarity, art, and anger management. One Mother-label heads Preach and Natascha P. bring queer-feminist HipHop to Hamburg. Their new event series GLOBAL FEMINIST BAD(B)ASS creates visibility for the local scene and brings it in touch with international acts. One Mother functions as a network, a host, and curator of a series whose name already demonstrates its attitudes. This time Madrids MS Nina will have a guest performance.
