Rizan Said shaped Syria’s music scene long before Dabke rhythms reached European clubs. Since the early '90s, the Kurdish composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer has released over 100 albums, collaborated with legends like Omar Souleyman, and composed extensively for film and TV. His solo albums »King of Keyboard« and »Saz Û Dilan« propelled traditional Dabke sounds from Syrian wedding halls onto global dancefloors, earning Said international acclaim. For this Summer Festival club night, curated by Hamburg collective DIARFEST (known from their sold-out 2024 festival event), Said performs live alongside two special guests: Milan-based DJ Turbolenta, blending North African and Arabic rhythms with Western club beats; and Gothenburg-based Lebanese DJ Mamdouh313, founder of queer party series »Not Your Habibi« – uniting Arabic dance music’s full, explosive party potential.
