Sarah McCoy sings with the mythical power of Tom Waits and the deep blues of Bessie Smith. Her piano playing is marinated in the history of rhythm and blues, and in her stylistic mastery, you can hear the long apprenticeship she served in the tiny, sweltering dives of New Orleans. This will be her first concert in Hamburg.
