Seera

The psychedelic rock band Seera blends traditional Arabic rhythms with modern rock arrangements, putting female-led Saudi rock on the international map. The four-piece group – Nora J, Hayahuascah, Meesh, and Thing – is among the first all-female rock bands to emerge from Saudi Arabia. Their debut album, AL MOJALLAD AL AWAL (VOLUME 1), features nine tracks that draw on musical influences ranging from System of a Down to Altın Gün, sung in Arabic with a Saudi dialect, and address themes such as mental health, empowerment, and resilience. After sold-out club shows in their home country, Seera will play their concert in Germany this October at Kampnagel.
