Reading

Journalist and political scientist Fikri Anıl Altıntaş looks back on his childhood as the son of Turkish parents in a small town in Hesse, shaped by the harsh reality of social housing blocks. In the midst of entrenched narratives and in relation to his own father, he asks radically honest questions about what masculinity means and how it can be understood and lived beyond the clichés.

Concert

The Moroccan musician Mohcine Ramdan is a self-taught singer and Gembri player. In 2012, he emigrated from Morocco to Germany and went to Munich, where
he played with Christian Bruchard and others, eventually founding his own band Jisr (Arabic for bridge) and becoming a central figure in the Munich music scene.
