Readings and concerts at the Waldbühne

In an almost dystopian present of continuing crises and a right-wing shift, strong artistic voices of dissent are needed more urgently than ever. The event series TALKING BACK during the International Summer Festival 2023, in cooperation with the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius, therefore presents readings of recent books, panel talks and concerts with poetic and analytical perspectives on crisis conditions. The invited guests uncover and tear down, design, dream, plead for transformation and create space for community, resistance and healing. Every Wednesday to Saturday on the Waldbühne in the Avant-Garten, the heart of the festival area at Kampnagel, for free.
