Reading

Shon Faye is an English writer, editor, journalist, and presenter. She hosts the podcast «Call Me Mother” and was an editor-at-large at Dazed magazine. Her book »The Transgender Issue« (in German "Die Transgender-Frage” hanserblau) is a landmark that signals the beginning of a new, healthier conversation about trans life. It is a manifesto for change, and a call for justice and solidarity between all marginalized people and minorities. Trans liberation, as Faye sees it, goes to the root of what our society is and what it could be; it offers the possibility of a more just, free and joyful world for all of us.

Concert

German broadcasting station Bayerischer Rundfunk named Adir Jan’s 2019 debut album “certainly one of the most important world music albums of the year.” With songs from a gay-migrant perspective in various Kurdish and Turkish languages, Berlin-based singer- songwriter Adir Jan creates an emotionally charged, transcultural pop music with which he will now also turn the Waldbühne into a magical spot.
