Reading

Nava Ebrahimi, born 1978 in Tehran, studied journalism and economics in Cologne before working as an editor at the Financial Times Germany and the Kölner Stadtanzeiger. In 2021 she won the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize. Her latest novel, "Das Paradies Meines Nachbarn" (btb HC, 2023), is about a child soldier who makes a career as a product designer in Munich after fleeing the Gulf War. He believes he has left his past behind him - until it finally catches up with him and his world is shaken.

Concert

Ashraf Sharif Khans music combines an astonishing technical proficiency with perfection in musical expression. The melodic beauty of his style, with his dynamic rhythmic development and the virtuoso technique, produce a unique experience of South Asian music.
