At the invitation of Anas Aboura, curator of successful Kampnagel events such as Oriental Karaoke, the Dub-Ke Arab techno party or the Migrantpolitan, the band Shishko Disco will take over the Summer Festival club. The collective was founded by the singer Joy Tyson and musician Moshe Zehabi in Berlin – where he ended up after stops in the Himalayas, Goa and London. With guests like Oshan Mahony (The Turbans), Avi and Ahmed (Bukahara) and Onkel (Ohrbooten, Alligatoh), they create a colorful, danceable fusion of Balkan, Turkish and Arab music, with a blend of funky gnawa rhythms, rock and funk. Like this, Shishko Disco forge the perfect sound for an open world. Afterwards, Guy Dermosessian from Kalakuta Soul Label as well as DJ Martin Moritz and Mune_Ra, host of the African Funk series, will take over. Together they play records from all corners of the world: Turkish funk, Nigerian boogie or Musica Popular Brasilia meet jazz, disco and whatever else makes your legs moving.
