Tony Conrad, who died in 2016, is considered a pioneer in the field of minimal and drone music; he also left influential traces in experimental film. With La Monte Young, John Hassel und John Cale, among others, he was a part of the neo-Dadaist Theatre of Eternal Music in the 1960s. In 1973, he recorded the groundbreaking album »Outside the Dream Syndicate« with the German krautrock band Faust. To keep Tony Conrad’s musical heritage alive, Stephen O’Malley, Joachim Schütz, Nika Son and Phillip Sollmann will perform a tribute concert.
