The Syrian Syriab Band was founded in 2009 by the Kanun player Ibrahim Bajo as a 40-piece orchestra. Due to the war, the members are now scattered all over the world. Four members living in Germany then joined forces with other musicians to play different musical styles between oriental folklore, western pop music and the Arab party music »Dabke«.
