Khebez Dawle Band was secretly founded in Damascus in 2012. A year later, the members moved to Beirut and reformed there. The band consists of four musicians, Anas Mughrabi, Muhammad Baz, Bashi Darwish and Hakamat Kassar. Their self-titled album »Khebez Dawle« was recorded in mid-2014 and released in summer 2015. The band members have been living in Berlin since 2015. Khebez Dawle has already played numerous concerts in Germany and Europe. Their texts reflect discontent with the Baath regime and are a sarcastic answer to the ideology of the Syrian dictatorial regime.

Wael Alkak is a Syrian musician, composer and producer of electronic music, studied at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus, from which he draws his classical music knowledge. After a two-year concert tour across Europe, Wael Alkak is now releasing his third album, which, true to his style, is rooted in the Levant. In his music, Wael Alkak mixes folk tales with electronic music and offers plenty of space for dancing and dreaming. At Kampnagel he will open his concert with the Bouzouki lute for the first time.
