theAngelcy

theAngelcy is the lyrical-musical universe of Israeli singer-songwriter Rotem Bar Or. He quickly attracted a fan following with his poetic, English-language lyrics, as well as his relaxed, folky arrangements and unique voice. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes danceable and with klezmer influences, theAngelcy’s songs tell stories of artists and castaways, of love and spirituality. The band scored its first hit with »My Baby Boy,« a song capturing the torn existential feelings of Israeli youth. Now theAngelcy is presenting a new album that will be released in late December 2018.
