SINGING WITH SOUNDDROPS

The a cappella vocal group Sounddrops presents previews from their album project in 30-minute mini-concerts and invites the audience to sing along. Through the barner 16 artist network in Altona, 22 people with and without disabilities have come together to form a unique, inclusive choir to sing, groove, and make music together: The repertoire includes up to 12-part a cappella arrangements—featuring beatboxing—of pop and jazz songs from the 1980s to the present, as well as interpretations of classical works and international folk songs. The choir performs entirely without instruments or a conductor. The multi-award-winning Sounddrops are currently recording their first CD—here’s an exclusive first look!
