The Tide Lines concert was sold out just as quickly at Kampnagel as it had previously been at Nochtspeicher, from where it was moved up. The audience response was predictable, because the quartet from the Scottish Highlands already stormed the charts in the United Kingdom in 2020 with their second, self-produced and self-released album »Eye of the Storm«. The Sunday Times characterized their style as »folk with rousing rock, sparkling electronics, and escapist lyrics, awash with arms-aloft sing-alongs.« On their new, third album, »An Ocean Full of Islands,« singer Robert Robertson honed his vocal skills with his crystal-clear voice and broad arrangements, thereby enhancing the emotional earworm mechanics that the band also binds its audience live. And for all of you who have read this now and don't want to wait until the band plays in stadiums soon, we'll be giving away guest list seats again in the week of the concert via the weekly Kampnagel newsletter.
