THE STAFF YOUR DREAMS ARE MADE OF is the second part of a trilogy about living realities and working conditions on the high seas by the German-Italian artist duo TÒ SU (alias Martina Mahlknecht and Martin Prinoth). The multimedia performative installation invites the audience into the otherwise inaccessible world below deck of giant cruise ships. Five Filipino former crew members share with the audience their experiences during their deprived lives on board and the often bizarre working situations with the guests, asking the question of to whom dreaming is reserved and who makes these dreams possible.

In a small room, two chairs stand next to each other, microphones and cameras are set up around them and two orange life jackets lean against the chairs. In the photo, yellow speech bubbles in comic style are built in with snippets of thoughts.
