For 20 years, Swiss musicians Tobias Preisig (violin) and Stefan Rusconi (piano, organ) have shaped Europe’s music, theater, and film scenes. Preisig writes film scores, performs with bands like The Cinematic Orchestra, and tours globally with his electronic duo Egopusher –most recently at Kampnagel’s 2025 Summer Festival. Rusconi has won jazz awards with his band, composed for choreographer Meg Stuart, and released solo albums that defy genre.

Together, they’ve played from Montreux Jazz to Kampnagel, where they last appeared in 2018 with director Thom Luz in LEVITATION – a haunting concert-installation at St. Gertrud Church. Now they return to the same space to record a new album live on the 37-register organ.

Before its official premiere at the next Summer Festival, audiences are invited to an open house concert for a first glimpse: music that dissolves boundaries—between acoustic and electronic, inside and out, past and present. As BLACK AUDIO wrote, it “leaves the listener engulfed in waves of analogue hypnosis.”
