The networking meeting “Historical Culture – Networks, Knowledge Transfer, Cooperation” is a joint event organized by the Federal Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship, Decolonize Berlin, the Memorial Department of the Topography of Terror Foundation, the Federal Cultural Foundation, Ossara e.V., and the Hamburg Memorials and Learning Centers Foundation, and is aimed at practitioners from various fields of historical culture.

The networking meeting aims to open up a space for cross-disciplinary dialogue and combine it with artistic perspectives for a solidarity-based practice of remembrance. The goal of the meeting is to strengthen networks, promote the exchange of knowledge, and initiate cooperation. The event is designed for a maximum of 300 people and is aimed at practitioners, experts, artists, representatives of cultural institutions, and scholars who are committed to a vibrant, diverse historical culture—whether local or supraregional, academic, artistic, established in civil society, or newly emerging.

The event is being organized by: Manuela Bauche (Erinnerungsort Ihnestraße), Julana Bredtmann (Gedenkstättenreferat der Stiftung Topographie des Terrors), Sebastian Brünger (Kulturstiftung des Bundes), Tahir Della und Merel Fuchs (Decolonize Berlin), Ibou Diop (Stadtmuseum Berlin), Amelie zu Eulenburg (Bundesstiftung zur Aufarbeitung der SED-Diktatur), Jo Frank (Coalition for Pluralistic Public Discourse), Helge Heidemeyer (Stiftung Gedenkstätte Berlin-Hohenschönhausen), Oliver von Wrochem und Susann Lewerenz (Stiftung Hamburger Gedenkstätten und Lernorte), Sonia Octavio und Catherine Schlüter (Ossara e.V.)
