Thematic Focus

B.A.L.L. – Bundesweites Artist Labor der Labore

Over the summer, artists and arts professionals nationwide discussed the topic of audiences in the performing arts in approximately 50 evaluation labs: What opportunities and formats for audience engagement and -and winning back audiences have been developed? Who is participating? And: Who is (still) missing? At the second B.A.L.L.-event, Lab participants will come together and share the results of their research over the past years, which was funded by the “Neustart Kultur” grant program. Impulse lectures, hands-on workshops, in-depth talks on stage and in the stream, heated debates in thematic working groups, evening show program and party formats negotiate a wide range of issues: Who is watching?

Supported by the Federal Agency for Civic Education and supported as part of the B.A.L.L. - Bundesweites Artist Labor der Labore at Kampnagel are made possible by the Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
