Live Art #15: Artzy Knartzy Vibe!
At the end of the season, the LIVE ART festival presents an inspiring mix of world premieres and premieres by local and international artists – in the halls, on the grounds or during a performative taxi ride through the city. The artistic positions could not be more different, but they all have one thing in common: they bring the ultimate ARTZY KNARTZY VIBE! Whether visually stunning like MIRAGE, the new show by Damien Jalet (who is also busy as an artistic consultant for Madonna), hyped like Göksu Kunak (who has just won the Academy of Arts Prize and is coming to Kampnagel for the first time with the performance INNOCENCE), hot and subversive like NO C O R A Ç Ã O DELA by Marga Alfeirão and her great team (who will be jetting off to the Portugal Dance Platform straight afterwards); biofictionalexperimental like Zandile Darko (with TAXI DARKO, her first premiere in the family group); performative-explosive like La Fleur (part of every LIVE ART festival ever since, this time with KISS ME, JUDAS); sensual-searching like the Heteraclub around Sibylle Peters (SHOTGUN WEDDING is also a world premiere); or expressive and lascivious at the closing party with the stars of QUEERIENTAL (what happens in the club, stays in the club).
