Belgian choreographer Damien Jalet has already made a name for himself with his choreographies for Madonna, Radiohead singer Thom Yorke and Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine. At Kampnagel, he recently wowed the sold-out k6 with his creation PLANET[WANDERER] (2021), which was created in collaboration with visual artist Kohei Nawa. With their new creation MIRAGE, Kohei Nawa and Damien Jalet continue their exploration of the constant change in nature and life. Inspired by the phenomenon of mirages and mirages and set to the music of Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), together with 18 dancers from the Ballet of the Grand Théâtre de Genève, they create a hallucinatory, sensual and meditative show about humanity in search of itself, wandering through a metaphorical desert.
