Wallah Krise!
For the third time, the festival hosts a series of talks and concerts in the Festival Garden that focuses on diasporic voices discussing the crisis-ridden state of the world. WALLAH KRISE! is a format against social division and agitation in the context of wars, border politics, debt brakes, the extreme right, climate change, racism and antisemitism. The invited guests analyze, reimagine, and advocate for resistance against the destruction of society and democracy. Every Thursday and Friday, WALLAH KRISE! presents readings followed by discussions; every Saturday, the author, scientist, rapper, and performance artist Reyhan Şahin aka Dr. Bitch Ray invites a guest for a talk. All evenings are free of charge under linden trees at Waldbühne in the Avant-Garten – the heart of the Summer Festival.
