How do we maintain open discussions and spaces for discourse after October 7th and the subsequent war in Gaza? How can the current climate of isolation, pain and fear be counteracted by listening and a willingness to endure other positions? The anthology "trotzdem sprechen", edited by Lena Gorelik, Miryam Schellbach and Mirjam Zadoff, brings together intelligent, considerate and thoughtful voices that hold on to the conversation. Together with two of the authors, Editor Lena Gorelik talks at Waldbühne. Moderated by: Hadija Haruna-Oelker.

In cooperation with Jüdischer Salon am Grindel e.V.

In German language.

The multi-instrumentalist Zainab Lax specializes in playing the harp as well as the Indian sarod and Iranian tar. She develops meditative loop performances based on groove and improvisation, with influences from Germany, Turkey, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
