Die Nerven

For 15 years, DIE NERVEN have been pushing boundaries. Founded in 2010 in Esslingen near Stuttgart, the band continues to probe the wounds of modern life with a blend of bad-tempered noise rock, rhythmic finesse, and sharp German lyrics. With six studio albums, they’ve topped critics’ lists and sold out major venues. Their sound reflects the diverse talents of the three hyperactive members: drummer Kevin Kuhn also plays with Scharping, while singer/guitarist Max Rieger, known as All die Gewalt, is a sought-after producer for acts like Casper, Stella Sommer and DIE BENJAMINS — a punk legacy project by DIE NERVEN bassist and singer Julian Knoth, which also performs at the festival.
