KRASS is finally pleased to host the Bosnian dub powerhouse Dubioza Kolektiv in 2023. The wild Balkan troupe has become a globally celebrated live attraction. Their mix of dub, metal, traditional elements and hip hop is directed against powerlessness in a precarious living environment and the dullness of politics. They step up to refute the stereotypes of the Balkans and stand up against nationalism and injustice among their own people. For their uncompromising stance, they also receive recognition abroad: with their massive sound systems, the seven Dubiozas are invited to major international festivals to thrill thousands of dance enthusiasts with their sweaty mix between party and protest movement.
After the concert by Dubioza Koletiv, the party starts with DJ Jugotonka! Jugotonka is a Balkan expert and has already played the dance floor in many Berlin clubs. In her DJ sets, old and new music meet and merge to form the »Jugotakt«. From Gipsy to Punk, Sevdah to Kolo, Swing to Nostalgia, HipHop to Electro-Balkan. Free entry to the DJ set!
The evening will close with a rap performance by Tina Keserović.
