Rom*nja from Austria, Hungary, Northern Macedonia and Slovenia restore an old fire department lifeboat on stage. In the process, they tell their stories and those of their ancestors – about Rom*nja culture, their own identity, the »normality« of being in the course of time. And then it's also about the ship of Theseus, which had to renew parts again and again after its long voyage and was no longer the same ship when it returned to the port. And what does this mean for one's own identity, or that of an entire population group?

A man dressed in a suit with work gloves carries a wooden plank. Searchlights and the wooden ship can be seen in the background.
