Following the German premiere of their latest work BLUE NILE TO THE GALAXY AROUND OLODUMARE at International Summer Festival, Impilo Mapantsula and Jeremy Nedd will give a two-day workshop for dancers in Hamburg. Drawing on material from collaborative and solo works, the workshop focuses on Pantsula and other marginalized dance cultures and provides insight into the artists' practice of thinking with movement languages that lie outside high-culture’s definitions of validity and virtuosity. It consists of two ca. 2,5 hour sessions.
