Jochen Roller / Friederike Lampert & Nationalballett Kosovo

The piece by the Berlin choreographer Jochen Roller and the Hamburg choreographer Friederike Lampert for 13 dancers of the Kosovo National Ballet uses the vocabulary of classical ballet in order to create choreographic forms of community and togetherness. To sounds of deep house from the capital city’s club scene, the young ensemble dances itself into a kinetic rush in which the individual merges into a collective of permanent movement, beats and sweat.
