Against a dark blue sky stands a young white man with short, dark, gelled hair. He is wearing dark clothes and his top has excessively long sleeves. He bends slightly and looks into the camera, which is on the ground.

In a recent article, laut.de posed the suggestive question: Is Jungstötter the present-day Nick Cave? Radioeins expanded the comparison to include singer Anohni, whom DER SPIEGEL also saw similarities to in its review of Jungstötter's new album »One Star«. Additionally, Scott Walker and Bryan Ferry were mentioned as references. This echoes the media response that musician and singer Fabian Altstötter already sparked with his first Jungstötter album in 2019. With deep, jazzy-dark songs exploring existential themes of life, love, and other disasters, his music transcended the typical German pop sound. Now, Altstötter returns to Kampnagel as Jungstötter, presenting his gloomy and artfully arranged album »One Star« live with his band in the grand Kampnagel hall.
