Here's a tip from us: If you want to come by to use the app on the premises, download it beforehand at home and also preload the content (click on »Scan« in the app).
The APP program of FOKUS TANZ #7 will be available till End of April. You'll always find the current App program here: kampnagel.de/k-to-go.
Billy Elliot's dancing tantrums, John Travolta's and Uma Thurman's twist in Pulp Fiction or the stage shower special effect from Flash Dance - these are legendary dance scenes from feature films that we love and, of course, love to dance after. For FOKUS TANZ #7 we asked Hamburg and international choreographers to do just that and send us short videos with their own interpretations of famous dance film scenes. However, we are not presenting these videos on the big screen, but on the audience's cell phone screens with our new app [K] to go. With this, we are launching a digital-analog artistic experiment for which you have to go on an individual tour of the Kampnagel site. From the start on the piazza, the app provides a route around the factory building and triggers the videos at marked positions via image recognition. And the approximately 45-minute walk becomes, as it were, a window-shopping tour through the world of dance film. Among others with: Gifty, Salah Zater, Danny Banany, Dancing Svensation, Carlton Morgan, Marcelo Dono, Benson A'kuyie, Hafiz Dhaou, Ariel Ashbel, Jennifer Rosenblit, Ursina Tossi and Juliana Oliveira.
