As a representative of popping, Linda Hayford specializes in stand-up dances inspired by funk and its various aesthetics. She represents a form of hip-hop that deals with intimate themes using incredibly complex body movements. The choreographer and dancer, who, like Saïdo Lehlouh, is part of the Collectif FAIR-E and director of the Centre Chorégraphique National de Rennes et de Bretagne, has developed her own, very compelling style: Shifting Pop is an emotional and sensory exploration of popping, to which she invites the flamenco dancer Marina de Remedios to improvise in PROCESSING. In dialogue, these two intense dance languages develop into an electrifying performance at Bucerius Kunstforum's Lichthof.
