The second edition of STILL ALIVE emphasizes exchanges among the invited musicians: following a communal jam session, they will play common improvisations and new pieces. Fattouch – a Syrian-Romanian combo from Berlin – joins forces with the duo Wassim Mukdadd and Berivan Ahmad as well as with the musician Rania Badri. In the west foyer, an exhibit shows works by artists who have experienced migration. With every edition of STILL ALIVE, the network of artists in the diaspora grows, driving forward visibility and professionalization.
