Pretty Loud

Pretty Loud is the first Romnja rap band, founded in Zemun, Serbia, by a group of young women aged 14-26. Pretty Loud combines rap and hip-hop with ancient Roma music and contemporary and urban movements with traditional dance to create a strong and offensive expression. In their writing, the women talk about their everyday challenges and hopes, as well as complex issues like race, representation, and social justice.
