It is, after all, an indestructible conviction that love is earthly, remains earthly, and will always be so — for death cannot kiss.

TÄNZE FAST VERGESSENER GEISTER (DANCES OF ALMOST FORGOTTEN GHOSTS) begins by following in the footsteps of Hamburg-based trans* artist and sex worker Liddy Bacroff, who was murdered during the Nazi era. Hamburg choreographer René*e Reith follows those spirits that take possession of us, those we leave behind, and those that return to us restlessly because something has remained unfinished. TÄNZE FAST VERGESSENER GEISTER opens up a space for the audience in which their own bodies and movements become carriers of memory and imagination. In an interactive performance, René*e Reith and her team combine contemporary dance and biographical performance.
