Hamburg musician Ace Tee presents her first performance piece, marking the next step in her impressive career. In 2017, she released her debut song “Bist du down?,” which catapulted her onto international playlists. Then, she became a trendsetter with a fashion collection for H&M. With hit singles like “Also Bitte” and “Hunnies,” which have been streamed millions of times, she ultimately put Hamburg on an international music map. After a celebrated Summer Festival concert last year, Ace Tee, who discovered her passion for music through dance, is now combining her creative forces by presenting her new album as a stage production. UPSIDE DOWN will be released as an EP at the end of July and will debut at Summer Festival as a visual performance featuring live music and choreography. With virtuosic rap skills in English, German, and Twi, and a musical spectrum ranging from funky house to afroswing to drum ’n’ bass, Ace Tee embraces her own biography as the daughter of two Ghanaian parents from Hamburg. She celebrates her journey to self-confidence, self-determination, and the exploration of her own identity and history. The evening concludes with a collective celebration of styles and beats in the club, where a lineup mirroring the performance encourages the audience to dive into the night.

On a blue-turquoise-lit, step-like stage, a woman throws herself into the dance movement of a death drop: she lies on her back on the floor, supporting herself with her hands, one leg bent backwards, the other stretched out in front.
