Four years ago, QUEENS: THE HETERACLUB was a celebrated nightclub performance that empowered female desire. The diverse Heteraclub team challenged a taboo in the art form of theater, which usually aims to touch the audience without direct physical contact. Now, Sibylle Peters’ group is reuniting for a performance where the audience can personally experience how they desire to be touched by theater. The performers will guide twelve participants through sensual experiments, exploring the politics of touch and some of the strangest forms of consensual cuddling and tactile communication by turning “words into goosebumps and meaning into pleasure!”. Crossing boundaries between the audience and performers, TOUCHING YOU aims to open up an inclusive, rarely entered space. From a feminist and queer perspective, the question arises: What kind of touch do we desire?

A close-up of a cosy scene: four people are closely intertwined. Arms, hands and faces nestle together tenderly.

Seven people in pink and purple clothes lie cosily on top of each other and in each other's arms. They snuggle together tenderly, look at each other gently and hold hands. Above them hangs a glowing sign with the words "TOUCHING YOU".

A person in a short black skirt and top wears a metre-long wig made of pink and red tinsel. The strips of tinsel fly wildly in the wind and swirl around. The person holds the wig tightly to their head.
