Two young men pose for the camera. One sticks out his tongue and makes a so-called metal sign with his fingers, the other shows a peace sign with his hand and winks in a friendly manner.

Krump is a dance style that emerged in the 1990s in South Central, LA and is characterised by elements of isolation of individual body parts and expressive movements and embodies the experience of social injustice. Krump is danced resistance against oppression and discrimination. During a two-week residency at Kampnagel, the two Krump dancers Vehbi Can Yesil and Benson A‘Kuyie will explore the healing processes and synergies of their different cosms and create new orders within a hyper-masculine Krump scene without ableism and queerphobia.
