Live Art Festival #12 Back to Live, Back to Irreality

World premieres, international collaborations and local productions satisfy the most diverse art cravings over two weeks at LIVE ART #12. For those suffering from performance art withdrawal, Chinese iconoclast Tianzhuo Chen’s 12-hour happening will send you into collective, hallucinogenic TRANCE. Intoxicating is also the sex positive, choreographic overwriting of the novel NANA by the group La Fleur. Speaking of overwriting: the propaganda film “Conquest of Vienna” is subjected to a contemporary decolonial deconstruction by the Hamburg theater group Uncoordinated Movement. Everyday life in a war-torn city can be experienced in the video game installation IN YOUR SHOES by Sirwan & Gang, and international top stars such as Trajal Harrell, Bouchra Ouizguen and Mithkal Alzghaïr present their latest works.
