Live Art Festival #9

The ninth edition of the Live Art festival runs the gamut of the finer arts. In an international programme of the highest quality, Kampnagel presents several world and German premieres alongside performative experiments. The broad spectrum of art on offer ranges from dancing masses (Jose Vidal‘s EMERGENZ) to intense solo performances (Hanane Hajj Ali), via a duet with a chicken and some intelligent reinterpretations of the history of performance in miniatures of re-enactment (SUPERNOSEUM 2). Lovers of Bauhaus will get their money’s worth in the piazza at Gintersdorfer/ Klaßens’ Institute for Unforeseen Collaborations – even if entry is free. As the season draws (almost) to a close, LIVE ART #NEUN offers a range of great reasons to dive into the colourful world of the finer arts.

LIVE ART FESTIVAL #NEUN is funded by Bündnis Internationaler Produktionshäuser von der Beauftragten für Kultur und Medien. Supported by NATIONALE PERFORMANCE NETZ Gastspielförderung Tanz, funded by Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien and Kultur- und Kunstministerien der Länder and also in the context of the EU network Imagine 2020.
