Let's talk #1 – About Cancellations, Clauses and Boycotts

The discussion series LASST UNS REDEN / LET'S TALK begins with a focus on German cultural institutions to reflect on the complex of cancellations, clauses and boycotts. Why is there such a strong focus on art and culture in the face of growingantisemitism and racism in society as a whole? What impact have exclusions and discussions on clauses had on invitation policies in recent months? What situation are institutions and artists currently in? How far do freedom of art and freedom of expression go? How can "safer spaces" be created? These and more questions will be discussed.
