With his live program CORE, curated at the invitation of the Kunstmeile in all six major Hamburg exhibition venues, French choreographer Saïdo Lehlouh offers a dialogue between dance and the visual arts creating new moments of encounter. His own works and the ones presented are characterized by an intense dance language, a deep connection to hip hop, and celebrate the richness of this culture with intimate conversations of various styles.

To conclude his all-day performance parcours CORE, Lehlouh will gather 100 performers at the Rathausmarkt for FACE TO FACE. This large-scale performance is based on a scene from his work Témoin, which will be presented at the days before CORE at Kampnagel from August 14 to 16 August. By zooming into this scene microscopically, Lehlou multiplies it into an impressive encounter of bodies and their individual languages – on Hamburg’s main square in front of the town hall.
